What do commuting, recycling, conserving energy, going green, using gray water or purchasing locally grown foods have in common? They allow us to be less dependent on foreign petroleum and also promote sustainable living.

With $4/gallon of gasoline in sight, the demand for using more alternative fuels and living more sustainably is on everyone’s mind today. 

The growing interest in this hot topic was apparent at Pima Association of Government’s first Alternative Energy EXPO in September 2007.  The sold-out show, which attracted over 4,000 people, is coming back, bigger and better.
