Earth Hour 2010
Last year, nearly one billion people in the world joined together in the largest climate movement in the history of mankind. We raised our voices in the United States with 80 million people participating and 318 cities (thanks to you) turning out their lights to take action in the fight against climate change.
This year, not only will individuals, businesses, organizations, schools, and towns, cities, and counties participate, but states will also unite by turning out state capitol buildings and governors’ mansions. We will send a message that Americans are ready to turn out the lights on pollution and climate change and make the switch to energy independence and efficiency.
