6:00 pmto8:00 pm

Woods Memorial Library (West side of 1st Ave, south of Prince Rd. )
Large Meeting Room

Note:  If you were planning to join the Sustainable Tucson General Meeting on Monday, February 8, we’ve moved the program to the monthly meeting  of the Food Group on Thursday, February 18 at Woods Library.  This change of venue follows the last minute cancellation of the General Meeting at the Main Library due to evacuation of the building.

The Sustainable Tucson Working Group on Food & Agriculture will engage your mind to consider facts, ideas and a sustainability check about sources of food in Tucson , Pima County and Southern Arizona .  We’ll look at food facts and information that define our food supply, demographics, food growers, farmers markets, traditional food sources and future eating trends for local and natural foods in our desert home.  We’ll also engage you in breakout discussions to help each of us contemplate our food resources.  Come join us.  Be prepared to participate.  Your view of food sustainability in Tucson ’s future may change forever.
