On October 2, 2007 more than 80 people attended our special first General Meeting, to start the formation of action-oriented projects through Affinity Groups.
These are self-organizing action groups whose creation and cooperation are facilitated by Sustainable Tucson. At the meeting, Affinity Groups were formed on the following topics:

These groups have been meeting, getting organized and making plans to take action.

One comment about “Affinity Group History” ...

I have been an avid gardener for many years and I recently purchased a small home on a quarter acre on E 28th Street. I am a retired software trainer and I want to make my garden into a training site for local residence so I can help them grow their own. I want to start a coop, get children involved, and plug into the Sustainable Tucson initiative. 520-303-5840
